Auto and Truck Recyclers Association of NH donates to NH Food Bank
For the second year in a row, the members of the Auto and Truck Recyclers Association of NH (ATRA) voted to donate $2500 to the NH Food Bank. In these difficult times, ATRA members are fully aware of the challenges faced by many NH residents, especially at this time of year, when they are facing winter heating costs, while attempting to feed their families. Knowing the NH Food Bank is facing unprecedented challenges meeting the demand for assistance, ATRA's members are glad to be able to help by making this donation.
ATRA is a statewide organization of auto recyclers who promote environmentally friendly business practices at their facilities that are engaged in auto and truck dismantling, salvage and recycling. “As an organization, we really wanted to help the NH Food Bank, especially this time of year,” said Jeff Kantor, President and Director of ATRA and owner of Car World in Candia, NH. Kantor, Bob Phelps, owner of Central Auto Recycling in Concord and Bruce Crawford, Executive Administrator of ATRA recently visited the NH Food Bank to make their donation.
